This is a cute local breakfast place. The pancakes are made from scratch and they are huge, I had to give half to my husband. Meats are good and plentiful. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very good. Great customer service from the host to the server to the cashier.

I am a big Foodie y’all and these are BEST Banana Pancakes have ever had in my life!!! My husband and I were in Hot Springs for a week for an anniversary trip and I wish we didn’t wait to go to The Pancake Shop on our last day!! I will say try to avoid going on the weekends unless you are going to be prepared to wait an hour or more for a table, we did go on a Sunday but went around 11:45am and we waited less than 10 minutes for them to clean a table for us! I am picky about my ham but the small ham steak....OMG! I wanted to put my face in the plate, It was that good y’all! It was juicy, moist and a THICK cut and the small I thought would be the large!! So AMAZING! Bacon and the sausage was not far behind, they were both great as well. My husband got 2 chocolate chip pancakes along with my banana pancakes and I got 1 blueberry pancake! Everything was Fantastic but the main stars were the banana pancakes and the Ham steak! We will definitely be back and will plan to dine in more than once on the next trip! Our server, Rachel was great as well. She was very friendly, talkative and made our meal a great experience. Thank you so much!! Y’all keep doing what you’re doing!

Wonderful place for breakfast. It’s popular so be prepared to wait a bit. But they put out hot coffee and ice water while you are waiting. They are very efficient so the wait is not long. There are great shops nearby to help you pass the time. Waitstaff are extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Their portions are very large. You can get half orders. Huge pancakes. Wonderful sausage patties. Crispy bacon. Cheese grits are A. Whole wheat, sourdough toast or English muffins. Apple butter and grape jelly served. Eggs. Omelettes (3 eggs). French toast. Half grapefruit. Stewed prunes. Different kinds of juice. Chocolate milk. Good, hot coffee. ( we jumped in and started to eat before I remembered to take pictures. Lol)

This restaurant is excellent. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. The coffee was so good I’m going to go back tomorrow morning. We came at the right time as when we finished there was a line out the door. Clearly a local favorite.

TL;DR: The Pancake Shop in Hot Springs is a charming breakfast spot with great food, large portions, and friendly service. Parking is tough, but it’s worth it! The Pancake Shop in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a fantastic little breakfast spot that opens early, perfect for starting your day. I went on an early Sunday morning, and it wasn’t super busy, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The food was delicious, and the portions are very generous—one pancake would have been more than enough! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Parking can be a bit tricky, as is the case with most places on this stretch, but the experience is well worth the effort. Highly recommend for a hearty and satisfying breakfast!

We came here for New Years Day breakfast while in town for the holiday. The food was worth the wait! If you want a southern made to order, homemade breakfast, come here! The pancakes are delicious and the complementary apple butter and jelly for our toast was incredible. The pancakes are huge! Our server was also so kind and attentive even when she was super busy. We will be back!

This is the best place have breakfast on a rainy chilly day. The wait was 30-40 minutes but it was WORTH IT. the hostess was friendly and communicative. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I ordered ham and cheese omelette with a side of bacon. The bacon was very very good! We also ordered fried French toast and apple pancakes. I’m a bit of a pancake snob and their pancakes were fluffy, fresh and tasted amazing. Also, you cannot skip the jelly they put out. You have to try it on your toast.
